Is The Xbox One in Trouble? - My Rant

The Xbox One has been around for around three months. It's sales figures at this point look grim when you compare them to the PS4. The Ps4 has outsold the Xbox One 3 to 1. Some nerds already speculate that this is the end of the Xbox One. They forget one thing, the system is backed by one of the biggest collections of exclusive games in the world.(Other then Nintendo)

Recently Microsoft announced that the upcoming game Titanfall will be bundled with the Xbox One. Given the poor sales I see this as a way to get people to notice the system even at the high price tag. The only problem is that the lack of services and games will still continue even after Titanfall.

By lack of services I'm talking about the equivalent to the Playstation Plus program. At no point can you call Games with Gold a good thing. The sad thing is this would be great on the Xbox One, at some point in 2014 Microsoft has confirmed this program will be on the One. It's just it should of been apart of the launch of the console.

Now the system will recover in sales this winter, given a new Halo and more will be released it's only a matter of time before the sales go back up. The real way to get this console going is take that $499 price tag and make it comparable with the PS4. Sell that system for $399 with a camera, something Sony cannot do. The price drop will be the only thing that can really help make a dent in low sales. If Microsoft wanted to sell this console at such a high price they should of had one of their top AAA titles ready at launch other then Dead Rising 3, and Forza 5.
