Call of Duty: Ghosts-Onslaught DLC- January 28th

Looks like we will be getting the first dlc pack for Ghosts this month. So click below for the details..

Prepare yourself for the first of four Call of Duty: Ghost dlc packs. The first Onslaught will be reaching the Xbox One and 360 first exclusively on January 28th. That means all the sony owners need to wait for their turn. If your worried about price maybe its time that you went out and picked up the Ghosts Season pass for $49.99, each pack will be listed at $14.99 separately. This pack includes four new multiplayer maps, a new extinction episode, and new weapons.

The four maps are as follows-

Fog-

Set in a small to medium map players are surrounded by a familiar horror theme. If a player finds a certain field order that player will become the iconic horror character Michael Myers. The maps music will even change to that o the Halloween theme when Myers is to close for comfort.

BayView-
A close quarters map set on a coastal towns boardwalk, full of shops and an aquarium. Beware of the artillery strikes that can be call for by a local naval destroyer.

Containment-

Transporting players to a small war torn Mexican village, the battles will rage on both sides of the banks of a dried up river. In the center of the map is a small bridge with a truck holding stolen radioactive material (It's leaking). The map also has many rooftop vantage points for the sniper in your family.

Ignition-

Inspired by the fan favorite map "Scrapyard" from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 takes players into an aging Florida space launch facility.  Be very excited about what this map has in store..

Weapons

For the first time in Call of Duty players will be receiving a dual purpose weapon. One that can be changed from Assault Rifle or to a Sniper Rifle.

Extinction Episode 1: Nightfall

I didn't want to ruin what this person wrote with my own version, so taken from Callofduty.com is the description of Nightfall.

Anchoring this first content pack is Episode 1: Nightfall, the first installment in Extinction's four-part episodic narrative. At a remote facility in the Alaskan wilderness, the shadowy Nightfall Program has been researching the origins of the "Alien" threat. When the scientists lose control, a small team of elite soldiers must retrieve the Intel and exterminate hordes of savage creatures while surviving a three-story tall terror unlike anything they've faced before. Featuring two all-new species of aliens and an exclusive weapon. Episode 1: Nightfall is a fast & frenetic, action-packed continuation of the Extinction experience.
At first I was hesitant to enjoy Extinction, like an alien it grows on you- or in you it doesn't matter which.
