BG News Weekly Recap-Steam,EA,Aliens:Isolation,PlaystationNow,Call of Duty Dlc,Evolve

Hope everyone had a great week. Here are a few of the stories from the past week..

What the heck is going on at EA??

Well it looks like even more top developers are leaving EA. After last weeks departure of Criterion  founders Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry its seems that EA is losing all of its top talents. The founders of the Chillingo will now be parting ways with the company they helped build.EA did give a statement this week regarding them former employees.

"Joe Wee and Chris Byatte have left Chillingo and EA. We wish them well with their future endeavors."

With so many people leaving one has to wonder one thing. What is EA doing wrong to force these people to leave?

Game Announcements

Evolve

The cover of Game Informers February issue is definitely one to look at. The announcement of a new game from Turtle Rock studios, the makes of the Left 4 Dead series are taking you on a new co-op ride. The game will be  four on one with the last being an ever evolving alien that is being hunted down. Players will be able to play as either the four hunters or the alien. Look for the new issue of Game Informer for more details.

Alien: Isolation

It looks like this week we are got a sneak peak into the future of the Alien series. As a fan I think its beautiful but I still feel the let down of the last Alien game. The game being developed by the british studio Creative Assembly.

“In Alien: Isolation, we have taken the series back to the roots of Ridley Scott’s 1979 movie, the original survival horror,” said Alistair Hope, Creative Lead. “Our Alien is a truly terrifying creature, as intelligent as he is hostile, relentless, brutal and unstoppable. This is the Alien game fans of the series have always wanted.”

Look for the adventures of Ripleys daughter on Xbox One,360,PS4,PS3, and Pc later in 2014.

Disney Magical World

Recently announced in the last press release, expect a new 3DS game this April 11th. Disney Magical World sounds like a Disney themed Animal Crossing. This is the description of the game from the press release-
Players can customize their characters with hundreds of Disney-themed outfits and accessories, all while managing a café, planting crops and collecting Disney character cards. Players help different characters solve problems or find missing items.
Now to me that sounds like its going to make a killing since so many people that own a 3DS also love Animal Crossing. So expect these adventures to start April 11th on the eshop and retail.

Call of Duty : Ghosts DLC Leaked

Expect an actual announcement as the 28th comes closer. It may be time for those that have been waiting to pick up the season pass to do so now..
