EA Shows They Care

The rest of the money will be distributed through other charities including.... Human Rights Campaign, Watsi, San Francisco AIDS Foundation and American Red Cross. I didn't take part in the Humble Bundle, but I hope the people that did are feeling pretty awesome right now..

UK Student Receives Free Xbox One

Last week it was reported that UK student Peter Clatworthy bought a supposed Xbox One on eBay. It turns out he bought a photo of the system. eBay did refund his money for the purchase and Peter also got a great gift this week- A free Xbox One. The UK tech retailer CeX went out of their way and made sure Peter was able to get a Xbox One. It just shows how great some people are in the world we live in. Thanks to nottingham post for the story.

Fallout 4 Site a Hoax

Some people find it funny to toy with others emotions. To make a site that seemed like it was the real thing to show a new Fallout game. It turns out the site Survivor2299 was indeed fake.

The Reddit user DCHoaxer claimed foul and promised to take care of the site. Also during a discussion on Reddit he claimed he spent around $900 on the site saying "That's nothing for me. I know' I'm a douche" and when asked why he would make a horrible thing like that site "Some men just want to watch the world burn".

Nintendo StreetPass Weekend and Miiverse

Today and tomorrow are the first in a series of events that bring 3DS users together in a whole new way. By using relay points at Nintendo Zones( Best Buy,Starbucks, and McDonalds) 3DS owners can get StreetPass Tags from all over the country. I was lucky last night to get a few from Russia, and South Korea. Also Nintendo has added the MiiVerse to its 3DS system.

Now both the Wii U and 3DS can be connected with one account. Its just one step closer for Nintendo to have unified accounts like Sony, and Microsoft. Nintendo seems to be trailing years behind in that field.

Death of Lets Play on Youtube?

Last week many Youtuber's were receiving claims against their videos. Some stating the content was protected and they would not be receiving payment for those videos. As of right now most gaming companies have no problems with these videos and are trying to help in any way they can. So as this continues I am sure I will be posting more on the issue.

Game Reveals

At this years VGX awards three trailers were shown with a glimpse of gaming's future. Telltale announced Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones. Using the same system as The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, Telltale hopes to bring a different dimension to the two universes. Also announced is a new edition of Tomb Raider for the PS4 and Xbox One and watch this video below( its the 3rd video I was talking about)...
