Valves 1 of 3 - SteamOS

Today gamers were blessed with news from Valve that they would be bringing their Steam PC store to the living room. This is the first of three announcements we can expect from valve this week( Half-Life3????). So click below and find out how this will be a different experience.

SteamOs is a new way to experience your Steam gaming. Valve has stated that "Steam is not a one-way content broadcast channel, it’s a collaborative many-to-many entertainment platform, in which each participant is a multiplier of the experience for everyone else. With SteamOS, “openness” means that the hardware industry can iterate in the living room at a much faster pace than they’ve been able to. Content creators can connect directly to their customers. Users can alter or replace any part of the software or hardware they want. Gamers are empowered to join in the creation of the games they love. SteamOS will continue to evolve, but will remain an environment designed to foster these kinds of innovation." All that is needed is the system to play the games on..

In-Home Streaming-
Play all of your Windows and Mac games on your Television, Just turn on your existing computer and run Steam. Giving you the player the ability to stream your game on the TV.

Music, TV, Movies-
Valve is working to bring many of your favorite media services to its new OS

Family Sharing-
Tired of playing alone? Now its easier to share your games with your family or friends. Valve claims that Family Sharing allows you to take turns playing one another’s games while earning your own Steam achievements and saving your individual game progress to the Steam cloud.

Family Options-
Sick of people seeing what games you buy; because how many versions of the Sims do you really need. Well with new Family Options a player can allow certain games in their library to be seen by anyone or they can hide those geeky games from prying eyes.

So how much will this be? around $200 maybe ? or is it one of those damn subscription consoles? NO
its FREE... yes the SteamOS when released will be Free!! Click this link to learn more if needed.
