Valve 3 of 3 - Steambox Controller

Valve has finished the week showing off the new controller for the upcoming SteamBox..Not announcing Half-life 3.Well the controller is a little different but thy may have solved the issues with the thumb stick and d-pad. Some people will take offense to a controller with no D-pad..

"The controller features two circular track pads. As explained by Valve, "Driven by the player’s thumbs, each one has a high-resolution track pad as its base. It is also clickable, allowing the entire surface to act as a button. The track pads allow far higher fidelity input than has previously been possible with traditional handheld controllers. Steam gamers, who are used to the input associated with PCs, will appreciate that the Steam Controller’s resolution approaches that of a desktop mouse."-Andrew Goldfarb, IGN.com

This is the new controller for the upcoming SteamBox.... It may be a little different... The D-pad is gone.. But with the with better control and a little hope that this does what valve says, this may be what the next-gen controller looks like. So with that the final reveal has happened and if you feel like you just didn't get enough answers click here.
