It is no secret that I am a huge fan of sports games. I love to play all of them, even if I still feel burned out on Madden. I haven't really played a full game since Madden 05. That won't stop me on playing every sports game I can get my hands on.
So one thing I love to do is play every baseball game that comes out during the season. That usually includes some decent games for the Xbox consoles. This year we will not have anything on that system other then R.B.I. Baseball 14.
So check out below three baseball games you need to play.
3. R.B.I Baseball 14
Bringing back the retro style we all love on the NES this is a great game. The graphics may have an updated look, but movie the batter is the same as it was. The game can be a little frustrating at first with the basic controls. Most MLB games that come out now have so many different ways to hit. Sometimes the simplest way is always the best.
This game is available for all consoles and mobile devices. I would recommend the $4.99 version for the IPad over the $20 version on the Xbox 360. They are the same damn game, so please just save some money.
2. MLB The Show 14/ NBA 2k14 Bundle
MLB the Show 14 is the only baseball game that you will find out on current consoles. After the failed 2k series many people that want to play have to either get a Vita,PS3, or PS4. One of the cool things this year is the new bundle that puts both games together for people to buy, placing the best baseball game will the best basketball game seems like a great idea. Players can expect the same great formula that has made this the "Titan" of sports games.
1. Rusty's Real Deal Baseball
Now I know what your thinking, I must have lost my mind. Well normally I would agree with that statement - not today. Real Deal is a free to play game on the Nintendo 3DS. Players can purchase mini games that can be bought from the owner of the baseball store Rusty.
The reason this is the best game is that it goes over fundamentals in an easy to use package. Players will be forced to complete challenges that make the game harder as they play on. Being a part of my local Little League I want more kids to learn the basics of the game.
Putting all three of these games together will hopefully get more people involved in the game of baseball at a young age..
