Rumor Mill- Lindsay Lohan Suing Rockstar Games?
The strangest thing to happen this week would be a claim from the "news" site TMZ.com that Lindsay Lohan would be suing Rockstar Games due to her likness in the game GTA5. The reasons are-
-- The video game cover shows a woman holding a cellphone who looks Lindsay-ish. There's been debate over whether it looks more like Kate Upton or Shelby Welinder.So for one the cover girl does not look like Lindsay... yet the other two could be her or any other tween that went on a wild streak. Thats what GTA does; makes fun of dumb shit like celebrity "news". I don't see this really panning out since no side has issued a real statement.
-- Part of the game features a mission where a Lindsay Lohan look-alike asks the player to take her home and escape the paparazzi.
-- Another part of the game shows another Lindsay-like character at a hotel resembling the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood -- a place Lindsay not only frequents but once lived at -- and the mission is to photograph her having sex on camera.-TMZ.com
Man Pays $750 for a Photo of Xbox One
Well one man thought he was buying a Xbox One, as it turned out he was fooled.. The following is from IGN.com
It's great the eBay has that feature set up. I would not want to be that kid if I didn't receive my money back.
Nottingham, UK resident Peter Clatworthy, 19, mistakenly purchased a photo of an Xbox One via eBay in an unfortunate seller scam. He spent £450 (nearly $750) expecting to receive a Day One Edition, but instead received a faded, printed photo of the console's box.Clatworthy told the Nottingham Post the seller had "written on the back of it, 'thank you for your purchase.' I was fuming." As a regular user of the auction site, Clatworthy didn't expect the seller -- whose feedback was universally positive, which is reassuring for potential buyers -- to mislead him. ""It said 'photo' and I was in two minds, but I looked at the description and the fact it was in the right category made me think it was genuine."Fortunately, Clatworthy will get his money back thanks to PayPal's coverage of these sorts of situations.
EA Halting All Future Projects to Fix Battlefield 4
Trying to log into Battlefield 4 has become a chore- Turing the Ps3 off more then once because it freezes before it even gets to the start screen is pissing me off. Yet I am not alone and EA is taking some drastic measures to fix their game.
This to me as a consumer of EA brand games makes me happy. Why does putting any future work on hold make me happy? Well it's easy to explain... EA is showing us (the gamer) that they do care about the games they make. Just because they are not some small indie studio means they don't have a heart. I also understand it's about making money. If they sell a broken game... Why would anyone buy another game from them. So have patience and a little faith that EA can fix this game.
After weeks of connectivity issues, server limitations, and various other problems plaguing EA’s cross-gen shooter Battlefield 4, the publisher has decided to halt all future projects from developer DICE until fixes can be worked out.The developer is “not moving onto future projects or expansions until we sort out all the issues with Battlefield 4,” an EA representative told IGN. “We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game – it is absolutely our #1 priority. The team at DICE is working non-stop to update the game.”EA did not lay out a time-table for the fixes, however, but this does mean that future BF4 DLC and Star Wars Battlefront 3 are on hold.-Forbes.com
Warcraft Movie Cast Announced
From the screen on the pc to the big screen in the movie theaters the Horde is coming.After years of announcements like Sam Raimi directing to the movie being canceled Warcraft has had a bumpy ride. But thanks to the site Slashfilm.com we have more confirmation that this movie is happening.
Universal Pictures has revealed they have closed deals with Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, and Rob Kazinsky and are in final stages of negotiation with Dominic Cooper to star in Warcraft, based on Blizzard Entertainment’s award-winning video game series.
- Ben Foster’s credits include: The Messenger, 3:10 To Yuma, Lone Survivor, Kill Your Darlings, X-Men: The Last Stand and the television series Six Feet Under and Flash Forward.
- Travis Fimmel’s stars in the television series Vikings.
- Paula Patton has appeared in Baggage Claim, 2 Guns, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Precious and Hitch.
- Toby Kebbell’s credits include The Councilor, The East, Wrath of the Titans, War Horse, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, RocknRolla and the upcoming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
- Rob Kazinsky has appeared in HBO’s True Blood, EastEnders as well as the movies Pacific Rim and Red Tails.
- Dominic Cooper’s credits include the Captain America movies, Dead Man Down, My Week with Marilyn, An Education and Mamma Mia!.( Need for Speed)
Other actors who were previously rumored for the film but not confirmed in the official press release: Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, Anton Yelchin and Anson Mount.Other official information:The script was written by Charles Leavitt and rewritten by Duncan Jones, and production is set to begin in Vancouver in January 2014.
So it seems that the movie should be in good hands.. But we will have to wait and see.. During that time why not check out info on the next expasnion for World of Warcraft.
