BG News-Battlefield 4 Banned in China, DLC

I would say I'm surprised...But I'm not.

Update 12/28- Apparntly the real reason is the China Rising DLC.. Not just the Battlefield game in general..

I was wondering when other countries would stop allowing the sale of these games..  According to the site Zdnet.com

"The Chinese government has officially banned first-person shooter game, Battlefield 4, calling out Electronic Arts (EA) for developing content that threatens the country's national security.It also accused the U.S. game developer for depicting a form of cultural invasion, according to a PCgames.com.cn report Friday. China's Ministry of Culture issued a notice prohibiting all materials related to the game in any form, including game downloads, demos, patch downloads, and news reports."

Now Battlefield 4 has been going through some hard times since it's launch. With the mix of game crippling bugs to lawsuits from EA investors, this new ban does not help the game. It's currently unknown if EA can do anything to get the game unbanned, it may just have to stay away from China's game shelves for now.
