5 Xbox Live Games to Play While Hiding From the Summer Heat

It's summer time, which means you get a trickle of new awesome games to play while your trying to stay away from the heat. I've picked five games that if you haven't played you just need to suck it up and try them out. The hard work is over, click the links and you can just add them to your downloads.

5.Torchlight

September 3rd is just not coming soon enough.. With the release of Diablo3 on Xbox 360 just a few months away play Torchlight. Created by former Blizzard employees its a great got amazing visuals and a great story. The game play works great with the Xbox controller, changing spells and weapons takes hardly no time at all. So play it and get ready for the ultimate game coming out this fall.

4.Darkstalkers Resurrection

Updating one game is great.. But updating two games and bringing them to us in one small package is even better. You can only make 13 different Street Fighters before you realize you just scrapped the bottom of the barrel. After years we get a beautifully crafted fighting game with all of your favorite characters from Night Warriors:Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3. It's not hard to jump in and out of a match online and unlocking extras is easy enough. The price is high but the game is worth reliving some great memories... This game will really help you play until it gets dark.

3.Magic the Gathering Planeswalker 2011-2014(Pick a Version)

So I'm listing all of the Magic the Gathering games on Xbox Live. Each one has its own special features and all of them make it easy to play online with friends or you just want to enjoy a two headed giant match alone. With thousands of cards, hours of replay ability, and new features in this years version like... wait for it.. deck building. It won't be to hard to stay inside for a few hours.

2.Shoot Many Robots

Nothing is more fun then mindless destruction, how about mindless destruction of robots will even cooler weapons... I thought so. You have a story... blah blah and blah...but you also get cool weapons as you level up...
If nothing more this is an easy 200 points towards your achievement score; but i feel like you will play it for more then just that.

1.Minecraft

Duh Duh Duh... This is a personal favorite of myn, countless hours of my life has been spent inside the world that is Minecraft. Be it digging huge underground cities or building walkways in the sky; this game has it all. The best part with this game and all the rest is each one has some aspect of co-op play. So you won't be alone if you don't want to be.

An Extra Quarter-Galaga

It's always good to remember your roots. I started with the Atari 2600 and now look at me.. The industry has changed so much and added so many new games that its easy to forget some of the older great games. So if you don't like Galaga or any of these games don't forget to fin your game hidden inside Xbox Live Arcade.
